Our family is going to Disney World in mid-september. Kids birthdays are directly after our trip, one is turning 2 the other 7. We love Halloween so definitely going to the Halloween bash. Are there any Halloween character dining experiences?

Hi there, Jessica. Boo to you! Welcome to planDisney!

What's this? It sounds like your family knows that life is no fun without a good scare. How fa-boo-lous! Let's jump scare right to your question so you can plan out the perfect Halloween in The Most Not-So-Spooky Place on Earth!

Jessica, I have some eek-citing news! At Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios, you can enjoy Minnie's Seasonal Dining! At this character dining buffet, Minnie Mouse and her friends dress up for the changing seasons, and on August 16th, Halloween Dine begins! It's so fun! Last year, we saw Mickey, Goofy, Minnie, and others wearing their Halloween best while greeting their Guests. Because you have a little one under the age of three, this little Mouseketeer will be able to dine at the buffet without charge, but when you're making your reservation, be sure to include your one-year-old in your party total so they will have a reserved seat. You can make your dining reservations 60 days in advance.  I've been to this several times, and I know your little ones will love it! Bone-jour!

While you're at Hollywood Studios, be sure to check out the new show, "Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After." Nothing says "Halloween" quite like a show featuring our favorite characters who prove it's good to be bad! I absolutely loved this show; it was visually stunning and so much fun to watch!

I'm happy to hear that you will be attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Your children will be asking, "Witch way to the candy?" They are going to love dressing up and trick-or-treating throughout Magic Kingdom! While the party doesn't feature a Halloween character meal, you'll find costumed characters and themed Halloween foods. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the updates and offerings!

Jessica, I'm wishing you and your family the most boo-riffic time! Please let us know if you have any further questions. We'll be here with no tricks and only treats! Also, follow us on Instagram!

    Happy Howl-oween!
