Bright Suns, Danielle!
I am pleased to hear that we may have new allies for the Resistance coming to visit us on Batuu.
Since we have two Jedi-in-Training, we have done both experiences. I would allow for about 30 minutes at both although it should not take that long to build, you may have to wait a bit before actually entering
Savi's Workshop or
Droid Depot. The experience at Savi's Workshop is more controlled, so you should finish at the same time as everyone else. At Droid Depot, you could take a little longer than others picking your droid parts. I would recommend leaving at least 10 minutes between experiences to allow for some transit time.
If you are planning two days at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I would suggest that you build lightsabers on one day and droids on another. Otherwise, you could be carrying around both lightsabers and droids all day. Or, if you are spending only one day, but can plan for a break in the middle of the day, you could head back to the resort hotel and drop off the first items and then return at night to build the others. If
Package Pickup is operational at the time of your visit, that could be another option.
Also think about who will build. All of us built lightsabers but only our girls built droids and we went as their guests. That turned out to be a wise move because one of our girls has an auditory processing disorder, so she needed me to make sure she understood the instructions - the experience is a little loud and BUSY.
Danielle, prior to visiting Batuu, I suggest that you review the
virtual queue process for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Consider taking time to connect with other Resistance allies at
Oga's Cantina. Check the
planetary hours and secure your transport. May your travels be safe and swift!
Good journey,
Donyell
