Janean, we can help! Yes there are many choices for dining on Disney property but that is what makes it fun. The countries in EPCOT will have food related to their country so if your daughter enjoys her pasta then Italy might be a great choice. Resort dining will often have similar selections with a slight variation according to their theme. Even a steak restaurant such as the Yachtsman Steakhouse will have wonderful options of chicken and fish etc.
You can get a very good idea of the menu selections by going to
www.allears.net and putting MENU in the search box at the top. This will give you an excellent idea of what is offered on the children's menu as well as prices but do understand this is a reference and things change daily.
All Disney restaurants with the exception of Victoria and Alberts are children friendly. With a 9 year old it might be fun to choose a character dining experience for her. You can check these out by clicking
HERE and then finding Dining Experience at the bottom of that page and clicking on that to see Character Dining.
Decide where you will spend your day and then select a table service restaurant that is somewhat close whether it is in the park or a nearby resort. Call as soon as possible to prevent you from being disappointed when things are booked up. Many families find that they can get reservations for lunch easier then dinner and eat their big meal midday. 407-939-3463
This is a great time to try new things....every restaurant will have food that caters to the younger appetite. My family has learned to love just about all of the more different culinary delights such as Morocco in EPCOT! have fun and enjoy your stay!
