    My family and I are going to Disney World this 4th of July ( 2kids- 10 and 8 yrs old), we want to eat dinner and see the Illumination show and Fantasmic. What Restaurant is the best view to be while dining and looking at these awesome shows? Thanks;}

    Hi Frances,

    La Hacienda de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion and the Rose & Crown Dining Room in the United Kingdom Pavilion of Epcot are good dining locations if you wish to view Illuminations: Reflections of Earth while you dine.  Be sure to call (407) WDW-DINE right away because you will need advance dining reservations to dine at either of the locations.  If reservations are not available at either of these restaurants, you might want to consider the quick service restaurant at the Mexico Pavilion (La Cantina de San Angel) as this restaurant has a patio with a viewing location and does not require reservations.  Yakitori House in Japan is another good quick service restaurant with outdoor tables with a view of Illuminations.

    Since Fantasmic is shown in an amphitheater on Sunset Boulevard at Disney's Hollywood Studios, there are no restaurants from which you can watch this water and fireworks spectacular.  Your best bet is to enjoy a lovely meal in advance of the show and then arrive 30 minutes before Fantasmic to grab a seat for the performance.  Remember to check your Times Guides when you arrive at Walt Disney World because Fantasmic is only available on select evenings, and you won't want to miss it!

    Have a magical vacation next month!
