    Hi! My family is going to Disney World the first week of November! Will the Christmas decorations be up that week??

    Hi Jessica! I’m not sure that there is a more beautiful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort than Christmastime! The resort hotels and the Disney Parks are decorated perfectly for the most wonderful time of the year!

    Let’s start this answer with another holiday…Halloween. The Halloween and fall decorations (especially at Magic Kingdom Park) begin coming down on Halloween night after the final Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The Christmas decorations begin going up the same night. Magic Kingdom Park is usually the first place decorated for Christmas. It is typically ready during the first week of November because the first night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be held on November 8, 2024.

    While Magic Kingdom Park leads the way with Christmas decorations, the other parks, and Disney Resort hotels usually see the decorations go up around the same time. If you plan to be at Magic Kingdom Park and the Walt Disney World Resort through the first full week of November, you should see Christmas decorations! The decorations will be fully complete at Magic Kingdom Park and well underway throughout the rest of the Walt Disney World Resort!
