family will be at Disney World end May for 9 days will be attending wishes dessert party. They stated to check 1 hour prior. How long can we stay after to enjoy, and avoid exiting crowds?

    Hi Dani,

You are going to LOVE the Wishes Dessert Party!  I just did it and I'll find it hard to watch Wishes any where else from now on! Make sure you eat dinner early so you're ready for all the super yummy desserts :-)

The Cast Members are excellent at taking the dirty dishes away so you have room for more. They also broke down the buffet before Wishes was over but we all had plenty of time to get our fill.  What I"m trying to say is that I didn't feel rushed to leave and didn't see them "encouraging" anyone to leave so you can hang out for as long as you'd like.

I do have another suggestion for you.  I'm not sure how old the members of your family are but if MK is open after Wishes and your family is up to it, head to Tomorrowland as soon as Wishes is over.  You're right there so its easy to access and you can jump on a couple of more rides while the crowds are heading out. I love packing as much in to my Disney days as possible and we'd much rather fight the evil Emperor Zurk at Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin than fight the crowds to board the monorail, ferryboat or buses back to our resort.

Wishing you many magical memories :-)
