    Hi! My family is going to Disney World for my 21st birthday in February. Is there a way to add my birthday to our hotel reservation? Or should we just wait till we check into the hotel?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What a happy celebration you have for your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!

    Yes, you can certainly add a note about your birthday to your resort hotel reservation. I suggest that you call guest services at 407-939-5277 to speak to a cast member. Once you arrive, check with a cast member at the front desk. They may also be able to arrange a special birthday greeting phone call from Goofy. 

    There are many other ways to celebrate your birthday while at the Walt Disney World Resort! We now have a tradition of celebrating my husband's birthday at California Grill during the Happily Ever After fireworks show. You could also have a cake delivered to a participating restaurant. As a surprise for our girls, we have ordered balloons from Disney Floral & Gifts. 

    Noni, when you check into the resort, be sure to request a special birthday button. We love wearing these buttons around the parks and having cast members say "happy birthday!" Finally, there are many Enchanting Extras you could experience to make your birthday more special. I love the nature experiences at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park but you may want to try the Fireworks Dessert Party with Garden Plaza Viewing at Magic Kingdom. The Happily Ever After show is spectacular!
