My family is going to disney world around christmas time and I'm looking for tips to make it as easy as possible but memorable for my 5year-old daughter. Please help

    Hi Justin,

What a thoughtful father your are for wanting to ensure that your little princess has the time of her life during your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. This will be an experience that she'll never forget. The good news is that you are bringing your little girl to Walt Disney World at the perfect time. Each theme park and Resort Hotel will be fully decorated for the holidays, and there will be just a little extra pixie dust in the air.

The first tip to make your vacation as easy as possible is to allow your princess to enjoy everything that's around her. If she would like to stop and meet a favorite Disney character, let her experience it. One of the best Walt Disney World memories are made when let our kids lead the adventure. Secondly, be sure to plan your meals, or at least figure out when you would like to take a break to eat. There is so much to do within the parks, that we tend to forget about our meals. You can either make Advanced Dining Reservations, or enjoy the Quick Service selections within each park. Either way, it will be beneficial to have actual times, or time frames, decided for each meal. Lastly, if your princess is a fan of Disney princesses, encourage her to meet as many of her favorites as possible. Each theme park has Meet and Greets with Disney princesses, so she'll get her fill of royalty. Is she more of a thrill-seeker and looking to riding lots of attractions? Check out this webpage dedicated to planning a Walt Disney World vacation for little ones: Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones.

I hope this helps you with your planning, Justin. If you need any more help, please feel free to ask us at any time.

Have a fantastical Disney day, and a wonderful holiday vacation!
