My family of 4 is going on the Disney Wonder 4/27-5/2. Do you know what the dress code is for each night? Also, as this is our first cruise ever, what do you think we should know prior to going? The kids are 7 & 10. Thanks!

    Welcome aboard, Natasha!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel and I'm so delighted to hear that your first Disney Cruise is just right around the corner.  You and your family are in for such a magical treat.  Be prepared for an unforgettable experience that you will remember forever.  Captain Mickey and his gang on the Disney Wonder are looking forward to accompanying you to the Western Caribbean on your 5-night voyage.

Here's the suggested attire for each night:

    Day 1 - Cruise Casual
Day 2 - Dress Up night
Day 3 - Cruise Casual * Pirate Night * (Pirate gear highly encouraged)
    Day 4 - Cruise Casual
    Day 5 - Cruise Casual

There are lots of photo opportunities on board, so make sure that you and your family plan your outfits well. Professional photographers setup Disney Cruise exclusive backgrounds in the atrium in the evenings, and those make great souvenirs.  Do familiarize yourself with the Personal Navigator when you embark - it will be your guide to the daily events & activities while on board. Your kids are surely going to enjoy themselves at the Oceaneer Lab/Club. Take advantage of that time to spend some 'adult bonding time' too.

Before you leave for your cruise, you might want to stop by the costume or party store for some Pirate gear. Everyone will enjoy this Disney Cruise signature party on deck when you've got your pirate 'on'.  :-). If you like to decorate, you might want to think of bringing magnets and other items to decorate your stateroom door. Creative doors make magical portals... plus it makes it super easy to spot your door in a long hallway!  Don't miss any of the fabulous evening Broadway style shows. So many different activities that you will enjoy.

    Happy planning!
