Hi there, Danielle!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to “sea” that you are headed on an Alaskan adventure with Captain Mickey! My husband and I took our two boys to Alaska a few years ago, but they were itty bitty and don’t remember any of it, so another voyage to
Alaska is on our to-do list!
Your children are at the perfect ages to love everything that a Disney Cruise Line has to offer! There really is something for every age on a Disney Cruise, but your children will find it especially magical and will make memories that will last forever. While Disney Cruise Line does not offer any in-room babysitting, they do have onboard
youth clubs that are open in the evenings! The Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab is the onboard club reserved for children ages 3 – 11 and is filled with activities, games, crafts, entertainment and is just SO MUCH FUN (well, that’s what my boys tell me!)! And based on the challenges we have pulling our Mouseketeers from the youth clubs for dinner or bedtime, they must be having fun! Onboard Youth Clubs are included with your reservation so no additional cost for them to go there in the evenings – or throughout the day. The hours vary for each club and each itinerary, but it will be listed on your Personal Navigator or the
Navigator app and are usually posted outside the club as well for your reference.
As you continue to plan for the adventure that awaits you, please come back with any other questions you have!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
