We are a family of 6 going to Disney in 2 weeks for the first time. We are staying off site and don't qualify for the dining plan. How much on average would you say one spends each day on food per person with 1 sit down meal a day and one fast food meal?

Hello Belinda!  Thanks for coming to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, it is a good one!

I love eating at Walt Disney World.  Everything just tastes better on vacation, don't you think?  It is hard for me to tell you exactly what you would spend on food per day at Walt Disney World.  There are so many choices and the prices really range.  However, a good way for you to get an idea would be to visit the dining section of the Walt Disney World website.  From there you can select different dining options and restaurants and view each menu.  The menu has each item and the price listed.  Looking at the menu options will give you an idea of how much to budget each day.

Have a great vacation Belinda!  If I can answer some of your other questions about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, let me know!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
