Our family is going to Disney this week. Our son and his girlfriend could not get into the same park as us Friday due to capacity. Is there a way to remedy this? Can we get them a Park Hopper for Friday only?

The news definitely isn’t all bad, Bruce. You get to make like one of those famous football players and exclaim, “I’m going to Walt Disney World!” While I know that you are probably disappointed that your theme park reservations didn't go as planned, the Park Hopper Option would allow some flexibility.

Purchasing the Park Hopper Option allows Guests to hop from one park to another (assuming capacity allows for it) after 2 P.M. What that means is that your son and his girlfriend could begin the day in one park, and close it out in another – potentially the same one where you’ll be. The caveat here is that the Park Hopper Option cannot be added for a single day; it must be added for the entire length of stay.

I know that your theme park reservation dilemma does pose a problem for one day. Whether or not that issue makes it worth it to upgrade your tickets to the Park Hopper Option is a decision you are best equipped to make. I will say that having the flexibility to visit multiple parks does add a whole new level of enjoyment to any Disney trip. Perhaps this is the perfect time for you to try it out. No matter what you choose, I’m wishing you all a trip that is practically perfect in every way.
