Hi ! My family is going to Disney for a week in Nov. and staying at the AK Lodge . My son is a huge snacker. I have heard that you can actually ship things directly to your hotel. I was considering shipping a box of snacks down. What do you think ?

Hi Lauren!  All throughout the Disney property there will be stores and locations where you can purchase different snacks for your son.  This will include chips and fruit and sweets etc.  However, if you are more comfortable with him eating specific items then you are free to ship a box of such things to your resort to be there when you arrive and check in.

Please click HERE to reach the home page for the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  On the right side you will see the address for you to ship the box to.  Please address it to the name that the reservation is under and add the arrival date under that name.  Ship it so it should arrive the day before your arrival....shipping it too early runs the risk of it getting pushed back and behind things and can't be located easily when you arrive.  Be sure you are not shipping anything perishable. Florida weather is hot much of the year and the boxes will go from one place to the other in that heat before ending up at your resort.
