Hi Kelly,
You are staying at one of my favorite resorts at Walt Disney World! I love
Disney's Old Key West Resort for the laid-back atmosphere. The Florida Keys theme make this resort a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing vacation.
There are a couple of options for
child care services at Walt Disney World. First, for children ages 3 years and older (4 years and older for Camp Dolphin), you can check out the
Children's Activity Centers. These locations offer fun activities, and even dinner, for children while the adults in a traveling party can enjoy a night out! My daughter loves the Children's Activity Centers. My husband and I think that she enjoys her nights at the Children's Activity Centers as much as we enjoy our adult nights out at Walt Disney World! Her favorite is
Lilo's Playhouse at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort; however, she has also been to the other Children's Activity Centers and always has a great time.
If your little one is too young for the Children's Activity Centers, or simply if you prefer, you can contact Kid's Nite Out to arrange for an in-room babysitter. They are online at kidsniteout.com, and you can call them at 1-800-696-8105. Kid's Nite Out is an independent child care provider who can provide babysitters at Walt Disney World resort hotels. We used them when my daughter was younger, and she always enjoyed the babysitters who came. They would arrive with a bag of activities that were great for her age and interests!
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Kelly! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
