My family and I will be in Disney for a week checking in on Oct 29 & was wondering if I should plan every meal and enjoy the parks around our meals. How hard is it to get a reservation that day when we know where we want to be.

Hello Dawn, I love seeing fellow Buckeyes who also share my love for the Mouse! My family has approached dining in Disney World both ways. We have visited, with our dining reservations all in check. And we have arrived with no food agendas. What you have to ask yourself is if there are any Restaurants at which you have your heart set on eating. If so, I highly suggest you call Disney Dining NOW at 407-WDW-DINE to mak reservations. You don't want to chance not getting a table. And being so close to your trip, be open to some non-traditional meal times, like eating dinner a little earlier than normal. It can be difficult some days to walk up to a Restaurant during peak hours and get a seat. If you have a more laissez faire approach to eating, that's ok too! There are plenty of Restaurants with fantastic food. Call Disney Dining that day to see what's available at the Park you're visiting. But also don't forget there are great Restaurants at neighboring Resorts too. Or hit a Quick Service Restaurant. There's something to be said about having the freedom to just choose that day. No matter what you choose, I hope you have a magical trip!

Meet the Panelist: Monina, Ohio

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
