My family and I will be going to Disney for two weeks at the end of May, beginning of June and I would like to know what the rules are regarding pool toys like small inflatable rings and floaters. We'll be staying at the Art of Animation resort.

    Hi Donny,

I'm envious of your very long stay at Walt Disney World coming up soon. How fun for your family! As you may have already heard,The Big Blue Pool at Disney's Art of Animation Resort is the largest hotel pool on all Walt Disney World property and I'd recommend scheduling plenty of downtime to take advantage. Small pool toys are acceptable and you'll even find a variety sold at the Ink & Paint Shop inside the Resort hotel lobby. You'll want to be sure your toys are small enough for the lifeguards to have clear view of all guests, so a raft, for example, would not be permitted. Life jackets are available to Resort hotel guests complimentary on a first come, first served basis. In my experience, the pools have never run out of supply for guests requesting them.

As Crush would say, "You so totally rock, dude..." for planning a soon-to-be awesome vacation. Please visit us again, Donny, with anything else coming to mind.
