    My family and I are going to Disney 10-3-2012 thru 10-10-2012. I am having a hard time getting dinner reservations for Chef Mickey's any suggestion? Should I just book else where or wait it out.

    Hi MIchelle! I just answered this question to a friend yesterday.  This is one of the most sought after character dining reservations that guests try to get and therefore it does book up quickly. There are times when guests need to cancel but unfortunately not that often. When you check into your resort head to the concierges desk and ask them to check availability and to keep checking it for you. You could also try showing up at 7am to see if they will allow a walk up as that is the time it opens and many guests find they can't get their kids out of bed that early and they don't show up. Of course this means you will have to get yours out of bed and you still aren't guaranteed they will have something.

    Keep checking on line and calling yourself up to your vacation and definitely book something else in place of it. There are other great character breakfasts such as Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom, Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom, and Chef Mickey at the Beach Club resort...these are my favorites!  Good luck but don't worry as you can see Mickey and friends at other locations during your stay if this doesn't work out!
