My family will be going to Disney this SUNDAY! And wanted to know how much parking is and were is the best/least expensive place to park. Magic Kingdom 1st day... Animal Kingdom day 2... unsure where to start day 3...

    Hi Abbie,

How lucky are you to be arriving at Walt Disney World this Sunday?!  Your family must be so excited.  I'm delighted for you.

If you are a guest at a resort owned by Disney, there is no need to pay for parking at any of the Walt Disney World theme parks, water parks, or Downtown Disney.  Your parking fees are covered as a resort guest.  If you are staying off Disney property, the cost to park a car at the four main Disney theme parks is $14 per day.  If you switch theme parks on the same day, just keep your parking receipt from earlier in the day.  You do not need to pay for parking at the second theme park of that day.  The total cost for parking for any given day is $14 no matter how many theme parks you visit.

You won't have your choice of parking spaces when you arrive at the Disney theme parks.  Disney Cast Members will direct you where to park once you enter the lot.  Guests who arrive early in the day typically get the spots closest to the park entrance.

Wishing you a magical visit to Walt Disney World!
