My family is going to Disney in September. Our group will include my 13 year old son (5th Disney trip!) & his friend, my boy/girl twins who will be 2 (1st trip!) & my mother-in-law! Toddlers, teenagers & a senior... help! How can I plan our day

    Hi Marie!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  With such a wide range of ages, I suggest not trying to stick together the entire day every day.  Your youngest children will be interested in some attractions that appeal mostly to young children while your teenager and his friend will probably be attracted to the most thrilling attractions at Walt Disney World.

I suggest planning on arriving together at the theme parks early in the morning and doing the most popular attractions that appeal to the entire family.  I generally suggest arriving at least 30 minutes before park opening.  Then people can split up as necessary.  I do suggest getting back together for meals; I suggest getting back together for lunch and dinner, but if you can only do one, I suggest lunch!  That way, if somebody has done something really interesting to other members of your family then there will definitely be time after lunch for everybody to experience it.  To make the meal more fun and relaxing, I suggest doing a Table Service restaurant for lunch.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any  more questions!
