My family is going to disney in Sept. We are staying at Pop Century. We have a character breakfast planned at Cape May and a lunch at Whispering Canyon. With all the bus transfers I am reading about, should I just schedule meals at the parks instead?

    Hi Crystal!

It is true that getting from one hotel to another hotel in general can take a long while, but some of the restaurants are outstanding and definitely worth visiting!  You happen to pick two of the very best ones.

Breakfast at Cape May is one of my all time favorite Character Dining Experiences.  However, it's painful to get there from Pop Century.  My recommendation would be to simply take a taxi from Pop Century to the Beach Club Resort; afterward, you can just walk the 5 minute walk to Epcot and spend the rest of the day there, or you can take a bus from the Beach Club to wherever you are headed.

Lunch at Whispering Canyon is rather easy to get to if you will be visiting the Magic Kingdom that day.  If you are at the Magic Kingdom, Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge provides a great break.  You simply walk out of the Magic Kingdom and catch the boat to the Wilderness Lodge.  Boats run about every 15 to 20 minutes and it's a very relaxing 10 minute trip to the lodge!  It's one of our favorite things to do!

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
