My family is going to disney on 3-28-12 and returning on 4-4-12 and are staying at the Allstar Movies Resort. We have the free counter service dinning plan, and are thinking of upgrading to the next dinning plan, can we do that and how much would it cost?

    Hi Jamie,

You have accomplished something I never have during my many years of vacationing at Walt Disney World; you booked a vacation that included a free Disney Dining Plan.  Lucky you!

While it is often possible to upgrade your Disney Dining Plan, the cost varies by length of stay and time of year so your best bet is to contact the Disney travel office at (407) W-DISNEY or the travel agent through whom you booked your vacation to ask them to price out your vacation with the more comprehensive dining plan.  They will be able to give you the actual cost to upgrade your plan.

In the meantime, if you have any questions about the various Disney Dining Plans, don't hesitate to post a follow-up question to the Moms Panel. We'd be delighted to assist you!
