Visiting Walt Disney World Resort over New Year’s Eve is definitely on my “bucket list”. Although it can be an extremely crowded time of the year in the Theme Parks, with a bit of planning, you should still be able to ring in a magical new year.
There are several activities, such as special fireworks shows and other stage shows that are available on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Last year, the
Disney Parks Blog highlighted all of the fun fireworks displays that were being offered at Walt Disney World Resort and, as you can see, there certainly were a lot of choices! Although I can’t confirm whether all of these events will be returning this year, that list should give you an idea of what kinds of shows are offered and their timing.
The other great thing about visiting at New Year’s Eve is the fact that the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are filled with special holiday experiences, which typically continue until at least January 2nd. Again, while we don’t know what will be offered this year, last year’s events should give you a pretty good idea about what’s to come.
