My family is going on the Disney Magic at the end of October. We've seen pictures showing children playing with plastic swords with Captain Hook, but were told no swords. Why is it advertised, but we are told no swords? Are plastic swords allowed on DCL?

    Hi Florence,

Welcome to the Moms Panel, you've made a great observation!  I am assuming that by "swords" they are referring to actual metal weapons.  The plastic toy pirate swords are permitted, and are actually sold in the merchandise shop onboard.

    Thanks for your question!
