For a family of 5 Disney lovers, aged 10, 18, 19, 48 and 52, what would you sy are the top 3 DVC resorts? And can you reccomend any special experiences for us older families?

Hi Shaun! I have to let you know that I am very biased toward my Disney Vacation Club (DVC) home resorts of Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. For a family of 5, being able to stay in the One Bedroom Villa uses less points and gives us 2 bathrooms. Both resorts are well themed and offer great amenities. I would rank these Resorts tied for 1st and 2nd in my book.

For the 3rd top DVC Resort, I have 2 answers depending on location. Overall, my 3rd top DVC Resort is Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. My family loves Hilton Head Island and we enjoy the amenities offered at the DVC Resort there. The Beach House is wonderful and the Island tours were very fun and educational.  In Orlando, my 3rd top DVC Resort is Disney's Beach Club Villas. My family loved being so close to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Stormalong Bay is awesome! We also got to walk to miniature golf at Fantasia Gardens and enjoyed the entertainment, shops and dining at The BoardWalk.

I would recommend that you take advantage of your DVC membership and the Park perks that are offered. We are able to save a lot of money and enjoy unique shows, tours and experiences because of DVC. Check the DVC member website for current perks and enjoy!
