My family is going to Disney for the first time in September to celebrate my younger daughters third birthday. She is very excited. What good activities are there for someone as young as she is?

A first trip to WDW and a birthday trip!  To help highlight the attractions geared for younger guests, you'll want to look over the Magical Beginnings Guide. FYI, Toontown/Fantasyland is undergoing some renovations, so that portion of the map isn't up-to-current. However, you can read about the new Fantasyland.

In addition to all the attractions, I'm not sure when you are visiting, but Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is an additional ticketed in the fall.  Guests can visit the Magic Kingdom in costume & get to have all kinds of fun, including trick 'n treating.

If your daughter loves all the Disney princesses & would like to be one herself for the day, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a magical place that transforms young ladies into princesses.  If she is more of a pirate, The Pirate's League helps guests find their inner-pirate.

If you click here, you can read about other Disney moms' ideas for others things to enjoy at WDW that are off the beaten path in case you'd like to go beyond the parks.

Finally, if you'd like to order a birthday cake for you daughter, you can call 407-827-2253 for a speciality cake (allow at least 48 hours notice). More generic cakes can be ordered without notice at any table service restaurant at the check-in podium.
