    My family is going to disney for the first time in Nov 2012 and I just realized that Mickeys very merry christmas party will be going on at the same time. Do we need tickets for this? my kids will be 6 and 3.

    Hi Jamie!

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a hard ticketed event, meaning it requires separate admission.  The park closes to day guests at 7pm.  Once the party begins, Cast Members will start checking for special wristbands and will direct those guests without one towards the exit.

    If you are interested in the party, I highly suggest you purchase your tickets in advance since this is a very popular special event that typically sells out.  My son, also 3, LOVES attending the party.  Mommy especially loves the complimentary hot cocoa and cookies!  This is our favorite thing to do each year.  If you love Christmas and the holidays as much as my family does, your family will have a blast.
