Hi There! My family and I are going to Disney (first time) in August, and we were wondering what resorts are in walking distance of Epcot? Oh, and is it less crowded during the week or weekends?

I absolutely love this area of the WDW property. The resorts in walking distance to Epcot are the Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Club as well as the WDW Swan and Dolphin hotels.

We love staying at the Beach Club in order to be able to access Epcot so easily. In the morning, it's such a quiet and beautiful walk to Epcot's International Gateway. From there the stroll to Future World is a bit of a walk but again it's so peaceful and pretty.

Being able to walk to dinner in Epcot's World Showcase is also a huge benefit of the Epcot resorts. The Boardwalk and Yacht and Beach Club resorts have wonderful restaurants as well. After Illuminations, instead of trudging to the front of the park, you get to leisurely stroll back to your resort. It's a perfect way to end a magical night.

In August, I think you'll have the least crowds in Epcot on Mondays or Fridays. You'll have Extra Magic Hours going on at different parks which will help pull some of the summer crowds away from Epcot on these days and evenings.

Enjoy your first vacation to WDW. May it be magically memorable!
