Ahoy Amy!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR that you'll be sailing on the Disney Fantasy with your family. With so many amazing activities onboard and ashore, you'll be making many magical memories together.
After looking over all the great
Port Adventures offered in St. Thomas and Tortola, I've come to the conclusion that you really can't go wrong no matter which ones you choose! But having been to both islands, I will weigh in on what would most appeal to me and my family, especially having two teenagers.
In St. Thomas, I would opt for the
Castaway Catamaran Sail & Snorkel to Shipwreck Cove or the
Full Day Caribbean Sail & Snorkel to Turtle Cove & Honeymoon Beach. That's because we love snorkeling, and sailing on a catamaran is both thrilling and relaxing. Honorable Mention goes to
Magens Bay Beach Break because Magens Bay's reputation as one of the top beaches in the world.
As far as natural beauty, St. John wins over St. Thomas in that category as an island with 60 percent national park land. So on St. John, I would choose the
St. John Trunk Bay Beach & Snorkel Tour. Having been to Trunk Bay, I have to say it’s one of the most stunning beaches and well worth venturing from the ship to see.
On Tortola, my definite first choice is
A Day at the Baths. This national park that is part beach and part geological wonders is all fun. We felt like explorers as we made our way past boulders, sea pools, and over to Devil's Bay Beach. A close second would be the
Beach Day on White Bay Beach with its pristine white sand and delicious beverages...it's where the original Painkiller was created!
No matter which Port Adventure you choose, it's sure to be an epic adventure and something your family will talk about for years to come. Wishing you a FANTAStic cruise!
Bon Voyage!
