    My family and I will be at Disney for Easter 2016. What types of events occur and what should we expect for Easter Sunday? Any recommendations for dining? What park is recommended for most activities that day?

    Hi Jennifer,

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! At this time, information regarding Easter 2016 activities at the Walt Disney World Resort has not yet been released. Unfortunately, there's no set schedule for when information will be announced, so I suggest checking the Disney Parks Blog frequently for updates and new event information. 

    In the past, Disney Egg-stravaganza was held in Epcot. Guests could explore the Park hunting for eggs that portray Disney characters! There was also a special map and stickers that were available for purchase so you could keep track of your discoveries and then receive a special surprise when you have completed the hunt. There was also an "Egg-citing" Meet and Greet with the Easter Bunny that took place in Town Square in Magic Kingdom Park. Another special experience that usually takes place during Easter time is the Easter egg display held at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Hand-painted, hand-carved chocolate Easter eggs are on display for Guests to view while visiting. 

    As far as Dining goes, last year Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa held an Easter Brunch with an assortment of delicious menu items. There were Easter-themed activities, and Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny greeted guests in the Ballroom. At Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, there was an Easter Character Brunch at Garden Grove, Easter egg hunts, bunny hop races, and arts and crafts.
