Hi Courtney,
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with that great question!
As of today, we haven't heard of any Easter Day specific events at Disney. Having said that, Guests who have visited the Walt Disney World Resort in years past have been able to participate in the Disney Egg-stravaganza at World Showcase in Epcot. If the event takes place again this year, you'll be able to purchase a map kit at several locations throughout Epcot. The specially-themed kit contains stickers of all the eggs you would be attempting to locate. Once completed, return it for a very special surprise gift. Also in Epcot, in the United Kingdom Pavilion, on Easter Sunday, there have been Easter egg hunts, and special meet and greets for the little ones.
Other fun activities associated with Easter Day in the past, include meet and greets with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny in Magic Kingdom. For the opportunity to meet these special characters, please consult the Times Guide for specific time and location. Also, and not to be missed, is the incredible exhibit of amazingly themed Easter eggs found in the lobby of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
If you are looking for worship services on Easter Sunday, Disney's Contemporary Resort will typically host Catholic Mass at 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. There is also a Protestant service at 9:00 a.m. Finally, Disney might offer special dining on Easter Sunday. In the past, it has been an Easter themed feast hosted at the following Disney dining locations: Cape May Cafe, Captain's Grille, Chef Mickey's and The Wave... of American Flavors.
Disney has not officially revealed any special activities related to Easter Sunday for this year. However, as your departure date draws near, be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any formal announcements.
