Hello, My family will be on the Disney Dream Feb. 2013 4 nights bahm.. Our first travel as a family. To girls 10 and 11. What is the dress code for the family dinning? shows?

    Hi Christy,

It's awesome that you'll be sailing on the Disney Dream!  It's such a gorgeous ship, and you'll love it.

Dress on any Disney cruise ship is pretty much cruise casual.  During the day, if you're hanging out by the pool or on the beach at Castaway Cay, you can wear your bathing suit with a cover up or a tshirt and shorts.   Daytime is informal on the ship.  During the evenings, Guests usually dress up a bit more.  There are a lot of great photo opportunities for families, and as a busy mom, I don't usually get "dress up" photos all the time.  I do make everyone try a bit harder than the usual jeans and tshirt.  For men, a golf type shirt with slacks, and for women a pair of slacks with a nice top, or a sundress.  Again, unless it's formal night, or you have a reservation at Remy or Palo, cruise casual is the way to go....it's whatever you're comfortable in!

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions.  I'm always happy to help.  Bon voyage!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
