My family and I are going to Disney for an 11 day vacation this wednesday, Aug. 30th. We are bringing our 6 week old daughter and wanted to know what your experience is with bringing a baby and if you have any tips to help us.

Hello Tim! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Having just returned from from a Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Cruise vacation, I found your inquiry awaiting my return with the knowledge that we were probably in the Theme Parks at the same time. Hopefully, you are enjoying the Endless Magic at Walt Disney World Resort with your bundle of joy and are able to receive this response using the complimentary WiFi offered throughout the Theme Parks and Resort Hotels for Guests.

When navigating Walt Disney World Resort with an infant, the priority should always be to have the baby's comfort in mind. When my family traveled when my children were infants, we limited our time in the Theme Parks and always knew where the Baby Care Centers were located for nursing, quiet and much needed rest.

The great thing about traveling to Walt Disney World Resort with an infant is that Mom and Dad can dictate the pace and be selective about the experiences the little one experiences. When we visited Magic Kingdom, we were sure to get a first haircut at Harmony Barber Shop that included our boy's first pair of Mickey Ears and a FastPass+ Selection to Meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater. Anything we accomplished after meeting those two priorities was icing on the cake.

If I can be of any additional assistance during these last few days of you Walt Disney World Resort vacation, feel free to submit another inquiry.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
