Hello Loreal thank you for stopping by planDisney. This Disney vacation is going to get wet and wild. We always love planning trips here, and I can't wait to get started with making some recommendations.
Walt Disney World Resort is such a wonderful time to visit. The parks are dressed in all the holiday trimmings. I cannot think of a better way to start your
Disney Cruise Line voyage than visiting the parks beforehand. A visit to
Magic Kingdom Park during this time makes for excellent holiday card pictures in front of the Christmas Tree or
Cinderella Castle. One of the most fun parts is watching it snow while on Main Street U.S.A. I know, I know December in your home state has plenty of that white stuff. But two things about this snow, it doesn't stick and it isn't cold! No matter which of the wonderful
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels you decide to stay at this trip by land and by sea is shaping up to be full of magic. Since you are visiting only for a couple of nights I would recommend staying at
Disney's Contemporary Resort so you can be close to the magic. Both Magic Kingdom Park and
EPCOT are a short ride away.
Traditionally during your visit the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is in full swing. You will need to check back on
Disney Parks Blog for updates and exciting news regarding the parks. If you are lucky enough to visit during this festival I personally recommend doing the
Holiday Cookie Stroll because I love cookies. No other reason, this kid at heart loves snacks and that lineup of cookies never disappoints.
This trip is going to be filled with holiday memories that will last a lifetime. I hope your cruise is amazing too. If you have any questions on your Disney Cruise make sure to ask my pal
Tracie M., she is so knowledgeable. And if it is regarding your stay before your cruise you can always
ask me a question and I will be ready to help.
Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
