Hi there, Mayra!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited for your upcoming adventure at sea on a Disney Cruise Line ship! You are in for a fantastic vacation!
I understand your worries about the seas, but I think you have chosen a great time to board one! Spring and summer tends to be less rocky than the fall when hurricane season is upon us. Of course, weather can always be an issue because there is no way to fully control it, but Disney Cruise Line takes safety as a first consideration and if there is ever a reason to reroute due to weather and seas, they will do that. But I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the ship is and you may not even realize that you are at sea! As a precaution, you may want to grab some SeaBands or anti-nausea medication prior to your sailing, but those are also available onboard in the gift shop if you ended up needing them. And…if things get too rough, just spend the day in the
spa and you will forget about it all!
When your Online Check-In and booking window open, you can complete your check in and also make reservations for any onboard activities you are interested in doing while on your sailing. Port Adventures can also be reserved at this time for your ports of call days. Booking through Port Adventures guarantees a wonderful and convenient excursion without the hassle of figuring out what to do at port. You may also want to book a dinner or brunch at the adult-only restaurant onboard to experience a wonderful and romantic dinner while the kids enjoy the
Youth Clubs!
I wish you the best, most magical, and happiest of sailings!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
