Family and I are going on a Disney cruise in Feb and we're having some questions about the MB+. 3 of us have linked bands to MDE from our WDW Vaca last summer and want to use them on the cruise. Do we need to wait til embark day to link to cruise app?

Hi Brian! I’m glad you stopped by with your question before you set sail with Captain Mickey.

Disney Cruise Line’s newest technology, DisneyBand+, is a waterproof wristband designed to add more magic to your cruise. Given your expertise with MagicBand+ at the theme parks, I'm sure you're already familiar with the benefits of this wearable technology. So, let’s take a look and see if your band is linked to your profile.

Head over to Already Booked > DisneyBand+ & More on the Disney Cruise Line website. Under "Manage Bands or Cards," check for the bands active on your account. If your band isn't listed, no worries – there's a link at the bottom of the page to easily link it. Just remember to charge your band overnight before embarkation so you can dive into the magic from the moment you arrive!

Your DisneyBand+ opens doors to convenience (literally!), allowing you to board the ship, access your stateroom, and make hassle-free onboard purchases. The delightful surprise light-up features make you feel like you're part of the show. For security purposes, you’ll still need your Key to the World card and photo ID when you visit ports of call.

Once onboard and connected to the ship's Wi-Fi, the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app becomes your second go-to resource. From checking your stateroom folio to chatting with your travel party and keeping track of your dining rotation, the app ensures you stay in the loop with the latest updates on the Daily Activity Schedule. If you come across an activity you don't want to miss, click the heart icon to mark it as a favorite. The app even goes the extra mile by sending you a convenient reminder fifteen minutes before the activity begins, guaranteeing you won't miss a moment of the onboard fun.

I hope you enjoy your tech-savvy voyage, Brian! Should you have any more questions as you gather your suitcases, navigate your browser back to planDisney.
