My family come to disney christmas eve 2010 until 5th january. What would you recommend to pack weather wise? Do we need coats for the night time and is it to cold in the day for shorts and tshirt?

Hi Rebecca - the average high temperatures at Walt Disney World in January are in the low 70s, and lows are in the 50s.  However, I recommend that you check the actual forecast as you get closer.  Temperatures fluctuate quite a bit and you are likely to need a coat or sweater for the evenings.

Shorts may be a bit too cold, but t-shirts may be okay.

    Have a great vacation!
