    My family is going to Disney to celebrate my son's birthday. He is turning 12 on 12/12/12 wondering if you have any great recommendations?

    Hi Joy!

    I have a 13 year old son and his favorite things to do at Walt Disney World include:
    • Going to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach
    • Renting a small boat on Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake
    • Going horseback riding at Fort Wilderness
    • Watching the fireworks while having a Dole Whip at the Polynesian Beach
    • Eating at the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge
    • Eating at Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge
    • Eating at the Sci Fin Dine-In Theater in Disney's Hollywood Studios

    Of course, he also loves the theme parks with Disney's Animal Kingdom being his favorite, followed closely by Disney's Hollywood Studios.  I hope this list gives you some ideas.  Good luck and please write back with more questions!
