My family and I have an 8:00am dining reservation at HS, and the park opens at 9am on the date (Dec. 20). If the buses start running from the resort hotels 1 hour prior, how are we supposed to make it on time? Take a private taxi? Thank you in advance!

Hi Jaclyn:

The general buses start running to the Parks about an hour prior to Park opening. And special buses to the Parks start running even earlier, as early as 6:30, for Guests who have early morning character breakfast reservations at restaurants inside the Parks and close by Resorts. These buses are unofficially referred to as "breakfast buses." When you check in your Resort, I would confirm with the Cast Member that early morning buses to the Parks will be running for you to catch your 8:00 am character breakfast at Hollywood Studios.

Of course, if you want to guarantee that you will be at the restaurant on time or are like me and want the extra minutes of sleep, you can take a taxi. Taxis are generally waiting outside Resorts, or your Resort concierge can help you arrange one (it's worth it).
