Breanne:
I'm a big fan of the cabins, in fact, my entire family is because we took a Grand Gathering there for Christmas a little over a year ago! We were able to get three cabins all nestled together, but each family had its own space....we found it a great way to spend a vacation together without all 19 of us spending every minute together!
But back to the cabins....they offer over 500 square feet of sleeping and living space with a bedroom featuring a double bed and a set of bunks (and its own tv, if you have little ones who may need a nap with a Disney movie playing softly...); a spacious bath with LOTS of counter space (in comparison to those you'd find in a hotel room) and a large living/dining space with a full-size kitchen complete with stove, refrigerator, AND dishwasher! A Murphy bed pulls down for sleeping two more. There's a deck outside for you to enjoy, and lots of space for the kids to run around.
But more than just the space, the cabins lie within
Fort Wilderness--one of the largest campgrounds I've found. Amenities abound at the Fort: a quiet pool and a larger pool; tennis courts, trails, boat & bike rental. And did I mention the campfire sing-a-long with Chip & Dale followed by the outside Disney movie?! Our family can actually stay at the Fort and not step a foot in the theme parks!
I'm a huge fan, and our family is going back to the Fort for Spring Break. If you'd like to get another panelist's opinion, ask Margaret. She and her husband vacationed there in February!
Wishing you a magical vacation!
