I have family that decided to stop by and visit us while we are at WDW. They will not be staying on site, but I was wondering if i could get an extra room key for them in case they would have a need to get into our room when we are not avail.

    Hi Paula,

I'm not certain if you can have a room key made for a guest who is not registered at the resort.  However, you'll be able to have a room key made for every person who is staying in your room.  If you go out and anticipated that they will need a key, you can give them one of your extra keys to use.  Additionally, you can leave a key in an envelope at the front desk if they'll be arriving at a time when you are not at the resort.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
