My family of 5 (me, DH, 3DDs,19, 17, 14) is staying at the Yacht Club in May. Is this a good resort for teens? We have stayed at the Poly and GF in the past, I thought being close to Epcot and HS would be better than monorail resorts. Tks :)

    Hi Margaret,

Soon you’ll be traveling south to Walt Disney World Resort. How exciting!

Located in the Epcot resort area, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is a beautiful hotel which will remind you of New England seashore. It’s one of the several resorts that surround Crescent Lake. It features boat service with access to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can also walk to the two theme parks, taking approximately 10 and 20 minutes accordingly.

The resort shares with Disney’s Beach Club Resort, what I consider the best pool. Stormalong Bay is an awesome beach side wonderland, with a sandy bottom, and an impressive water slide.

And for that sweet tooth craving, there’s nothing better than having some delicious desserts at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Can your children share? Let’s see if they can handle the Kitchen Sink.

If you have any other questions, feel free to come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Safe travels.

    Ricardo.
