Welcome to planDisney. It’s so much fun when families get to vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth. My family just got back from a 3-day trip, and we had a blast as always. I see you’re going to be there during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and would love to share a few things about it with you. First, let’s get you and your family set up so you can continue the planning.
Alrighty, so in my experience, the best way to manage all of your tickets and passes is via the
My Disney Experience app. Once you have it downloaded, we need to make sure that all of your family members are linked to you. From the home screen, click on the 3 bars (≡) at the bottom right-hand corner, scroll down, and click Profile. Tap Family & Friends List, and if your family members are not already listed, scroll down and Add a Guest. Next, have all of the other family members go through the same steps so that they are all linked. This will help them with their lightning lanes when everyone is at different parks.
Next, you will need to purchase your tickets. I think your best bet for this is to purchase them on the
Walt Disney World website. From the homepage, hover over the Tickets & Parks tab and click Buy Theme Park Tickets. Here you can buy the combination of tickets that you will need for each family member. You can add the park hopper option and water park tickets as well. You will probably need to make multiple transactions, since it looks like most of the family will need different ticket options. After your purchase, you can assign each ticket to the appropriate family member.
Finally, once you are in your registration window to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass / Single Pass or the Premier Pass, you can use the My Experience App again. You can purchase a pass for each family member, depending on the park, for each day you need it.
One last thing I would love to share with you is not to miss out on the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Here you will find magic in bloom at a festival full of flowers, flavor, and fun. Our family loves walking around and seeing all of the gorgeous Disney character topiaries. If music is your jam, then you will have to check out the Garden Rocks Concert Series at the American Gardens Theater. Oh, and you will absolutely have to stop by the Outdoor Kitchens to try some of the delicious food and treats.
