    Hi! My family and I will be there in 8 days! So excited! We have a 7:30am reservations at Chef Mickey. We are staying at Pop Century. What bus will we need to take to get to the Contemporary Resort and how early should we leave? Thanks

    Hi Jennifer!

    How exciting!   Your trip will be here so soon.  I hope these next eight days fly by for you guys.

    The buses generally start running one hour before the opening of the park(s) that open the earliest.  Most of the time, 8 a.m. is the earliest any park will open.  So, this means the earliest you would likely see a bus is at 7 a.m.  

    For Chef Mickey's, your plan would normally be to hop on the Magic Kingdom bus and then take the monorail from Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary Resort.  

    I would not recommend using a bus for your reservation.  What we usually do, for an early breakfast, is arrange for a cab to take us.  We do it the day before at the front desk.   Cab rides between resorts are pretty inexpensive and much quicker than using the Walt Disney World buses.

    I know that some people have had good luck using the Uber car service, but I have not personally done this.  If you're familiar with how that works, it could also be an option.
