Hi Julia!
A warm Florida welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love helping fellow Floridians plan their Walt Disney World Resort vacations. Thank you for sending us your great question about
upgrading Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets to Walt Disney World Resort annual passes.
Julia, you are correct. It is possible to upgrade theme park tickets to annual passes by applying the price of the theme park ticket to the annual pass. However, this is only possible as long as there is at least one day of valid admission remaining on the ticket.
In order to do so, you must visit any Walt Disney World theme park ticket window,
Guest Relations location or Disney Springs Guest Relations location within 14 days of the first use of the theme park ticket. After 14 days from the date of first use, or if there is no valid admission remaining on the ticket, no ticket modifications or upgrades can take place.
Additionally, upgrades from theme park tickets to annual passes are not available online or via the phone at this time. They must be made in person at Walt Disney World Resort.
If you require further clarification or would like more information on annual passes, you are always welcome to speak to a Cast Member by dialing (407) 560-PASS or (407) 560-7277.
Please visit us again if you have any other questions, Julia! We are always here to help you plan the “practically perfect” Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
