My family and I are going on a 7 day Merrytime Christmas Cruise leaving Dec 22/18 on the Fantasy. Will there be a pirate night and/or fireworks? That was one of our favourite activities from our previous Merrytime Cruise in 2014!

    Ahoy, Dana!

What a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays - with a 7-night Very Merrytime sailing on the gorgeous Disney Fantasy! My family enjoyed our first Very Merrytime cruise last year, and it was truly the most magical experience ever. From building gingerbread houses to visiting with Santa himself, we made memories to last a lifetime!

You'll be happy to know that Pirate Night is a featured celebration on most Disney Cruise Line itineraries, and your Very Merrytime Cruise is no exception. With a pirate-themed dinner (don't miss the Chilled Mango Soup!), a swashbuckling deck party, and Buccaneer Blast fireworks, Pirate Night is ARRRGH-mazing from start to finish!

So, make sure to pack your puffy shirts, waistcoats and eye patches along with your Christmas sweaters - you'll be celebrating the holidays and partying with pirates!

I hope this helps with your packing and planning for your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation. Please let us know if you have more questions before you set sail with Captain Mickey and his crew.

    Have a magical day! - Diane W.
