hello, we are a family of 5 and have only 1 day in magic kingdom at the end of july 2016 . since our time is limited we are staying in the all star music hotel. What benefits can we get by staying here and what can we do so time wasting is minimized.

    Hi Luiz,

There are many Benefits of Staying at a Disney Resort Hotel and it would definitely be worth you checking to see if there are any Extra Magic Hours being offered at the Magic Kingdom Park on the day of your visit.

Here are my top tips to ensure that you get the most out of your day at the Magic Kingdom Park:-

1/ Make sure that you arrive at the Magic Kingdom Park at least 30 minutes prior to park opening.
2/ Once you are able to enter the park, head straight to the back of the park and begin your day at Frontierland. Most guests tend to tour the park in a circle starting with Tomorrowland or Adventureland so this should eliminate some of the crowds.
3/ Take advantage of Disney's FastPass+ which will save you from having wait in line for 3 of the most popular attractions. (Depending on the ages of your party, I would suggest picking 3 out of the following attractions:- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Enchanted Tales with Belle.)
4/ Try to stop for lunch and/or dinner at off peak times. Lines generally decrease during peak meal times.
5/ If you are not planning to watch Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade and/or the Main Street Electrical Parade, this is another time when lines will be less crowded.

Try to plan your day out ahead of time and make your FastPass+ selections for times when you expect to have reached that point of the park. This will save both time and your feet from walking back and forth unnecessarily.
