    My family of 4,daughter 8, son 17 coming in beginning of December 2012 to celebrate our sons upcoming graduation. Should we wait to try to make reservations at new econonmy hotel or book at Port Orleans? Too early to book now, but planning way ahead!!

    Wow...that's a tough decision!  I love, love, LOVE Port Orleans Riverside, but I am THRILLED beyond words about Disney's Art of Animation Resort! 

    I think I'd wait it out and book Disney's Art of Animation as it'll give your family more space as compared to a room at Port Orleans, that is, if you book a family suite.  I know with older children the extra space is always a bonus!  If you plan on booking a standard room at Disney's Art of Animation, then I'd probably lean toward Port Orleans, as the room size will be larger.
