My family & I currently have a 7:00 reservation for the Rose & Crown pub on June 19 but want to know if we switch the reservation so that we can watch Illuminations while we're having dinner, is it worth it??

    Hi Jen!

Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We absolutely love it when our long-time friends come back to talk Disney with us. Are you planning to do anything this visit that you haven't done before? I think that's what I love most about Walt Disney World Resort, that no matter how many times I visit I'll never have the same vacation twice. Check out some of the wonderful Enchanting Extras that you can add in to your vacation to make this visit that much more memorable. Everything from spa services to backstage tours to dining with animals!

I am a huge fan of multi-tasking so I definitely think that watching Illuminations while dining at Epcot's Rose & Crown would be fantastic. Illuminations is performed in and around the water of Epcot's World Showcase. Out of Epcot's more than 50 dining locations, only two restaurants are water-side creating this perfect viewing, and seating, opportunity. To me the benefits of getting a reservation during the time of the show would be that you wouldn't have to steak out a viewing spot up to 90 minutes before Illuminations started, and also you'd have guaranteed seating as well as access to beverages and desserts without having to risk losing your spot. I say go for it!!

Please let us know if we can help you with any more of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans, Jen, and We'll See You Real Soon!
