My family currently has premium annual passes and are due to visit WDW again next week. I know in the past we couldn't get our APs put on our KTTW cards...has that changed? I'd heard it had. Would the front desk be able to do that when we check in?

    Hi Laura,

We haven't gotten official word about conversion of the paper annual passes to the hard plastic radio-frequency identification (RFID) cards that work in the new touch point entrances, which are replacing turnstiles. However, many of the unofficial Disney sites are reporting that passholders can convert their tickets through May 19 at the Odyssey in Epcot. Another Moms Panel member got that same scoop last week.

I was at Epcot on Sunday, before the rumored beginning of the conversion program, but the cast members I asked couldn't confirm the information.

I wish I had official news for you. I suggest you inquire about the new passes when you check in or swing by the Odyssey if you are at Epcot. (The Flower and Garden Festival is especially good this year, by the way. Love the addition of special food kiosks!)

I am eager to get my pass converted to the new system, too.

    Enjoy your visit!
