    Hello! We are a family of 4 currently booked at POFQ for a week in August, incl free dining. I'm thinking about changing the reservation to stay in a family suite at either Art of Animation (more money) or All Star Music. Is it worth the extra cost?

    If I had to make this decision, I would stick with Port Orleans French Quarter.  Several reasons, one being that you are staying at one of my favorite resorts!  The guest rooms have recently been refurbished, so you will enjoy very comfortable queen beds.  The food court is very nice, and you simply have to go to the bakery to try their freshly made beignets, so yummy!

    Another reason gets more technical.  When you choose a Value Resort, you only the Quick Service Dining Plan, not the Base Dining Plan, so no table service credits would be included.  I really like having some sit-down meals after a busy day in the parks.  You could upgrade to the Base Dining Plan, but that would be an additional cost.

    Of course, this decision is up to you, but I think you have a great vacation booked and I would keep it as-is!  If you decide to change, you will want to call a Disney Reservationist at (407)W-DISNEY to discuss availability and price differences.  Good luck with whatever you decide.
